We are closer than ever to bringing daily train service to Eau Claire, Menomonie, Baldwin, and Hudson. But we need your help.
What You Can Do
The Twin Cities-Western Wisconsin rail line received a federal grant to begin work on this project. We’ve finished the first step and are now ready to move on to step two- the Service Development Plan that is the main feasibility study that would take the plans forward towards service starting. But, while Washington will provide 90% of the money for step two planning, we need to come up with the other 10% over the next two years. It’s a small fraction of what we spend each year on highways.
Reach out to your city, county and state leaders to let them know that you want safe, modern, comfortable daily train service as an alternative to driving.
